EU 597
Engaging in Research
This course aims to expand students’ research knowledge and skills. In preparation for taking this course, students will have developed a research question and conducted a literature review in prerequisite courses. In this course, each student will develop a small-scale research project, in which they determine research methods appropriate to the investigation of the proposed research question. If required, students will seek clearance from the Laurier Research Ethics Board. Students will collect all necessary data and analyze the data accordingly. To allow sufficient time for Research Ethics Board clearance and data collection, classes will take place every 2 weeks across 2 terms. Note: Students must declare their intent to enrol in EU597 while enrolled in EU502.
Prerequisites: EU501 and EU502 and one of EU504 or EU505.
Exclusions: Only available to students enrolled in the MEd program.
